The Gift

I had thought about many different ways to spend my gift money but eventually the right person just found me. I spent my $25 on a young girl who plays soccer with the other children. I often saw her isolated at times and one day I saw tears streaming down her face. I walked over to her and sat beside her. She told me she used winter gloves to catch the ball instead of ones likes some of the other kids had. So I got I did my best and got her a very nice pair of goalie gloves. I pitched in ten more dollars for her to do whatever she would like for Christmas. She seemed very impressed and bewildered as to why anybody would be so thoughtful. She held me tightly and thanked me so much and went along her way. Everytime I see her now she waves to me and a big smile spreads across her face.
